In-house Training Cells: Calcutta Institute of Technology has in-house cells for technical English and communication skills, professional ethics, professional communication practice, communication skills, English language communication skills, organisational communication, English for professionals, aptitude, spoken English and other skills training, campus recruitment training and event-specific programmes like GATE, TOFEL, CAT etc. 

Hostel: Calcutta Institute of Technology facilities include separate hostels for men and women. The hostels are ragging-free and incorporate furniture, electricity with generator backup, sufficient water etc. CIT Kolkata boys hostel is located on the campus. The CIT Kolkata girl's hostel is located within 1 km of the campus. Every hostel is monitored by a round-the-clock warden. 

Transportation Facility:  CIT Kolkata transportation facility is available from Uluberia railway station and different places in Kolkata and to the institute campus. 

Canteen: The Calcutta Institute of Technology infrastructure includes a spacious, well-furnished canteen with a hygienic drinking water facility with a capacity of more than 100 pupils. The canteen serves quality lunch, tea, coffee, snacks, cold drinks etc at a reasonable cost. 

Library: The Calcutta Institute of Technology campus has a library that serves as the backbone of the institute. It has a vast collection of textbooks, reference materials, journals, e-journals magazines, periodicals, audio videos, CD ROMs, research publications etc. In the library, there are 54487 volumes of books incorporating 2071 book titles, 115 national journals, 9 International Journals and STM e-journals. The CIT Kolkata library is well equipped with a spacious reading room and WiFi facility. The students can visit the library catalogue for various subjects through LIBSYS online service available in the library and can place their library books’ requisition through the online system too. The students get a general book lending facility for their respective subjects in the ensuing semester. Additionally, every individual student also gets a book bank facility to avail another five-six books for reading purposes at their home throughout the ensuing semester. 

Sports Facility: The CIT Kolkata campus is endowed with indoor and outdoor sports facilities like football, cricket, table tennis, Badminton, volleyball, chess, carrom etc. In each academic year, the institute organises interdisciplinary cricket, football, Badminton, and Volleyball tournaments in the campus playground. 

Computer Centre: The Calcutta Institute of Technology infrastructure has a central computing centre with high-speed internet. Anyone can access the lab for Internet surfing, printing, and document scanning purposes. 

Medical and First Aid: Medical facility is available on the Calcutta Institute of Technology campus. The institute has its own ambulance facility for the students and staff as well to get admission to nearby hospitals within 1 km for medical emergencies.
